The annual Doss Memorial Sacred Harp Singing was held on the fourth Sunday in May. The class was called to order by Floyd Screws leading song on page 59. Tim Whitaker led the morning prayer.

The memorial lesson was given by Floyd Screws. Lora Cargo led song on page 454 for the sick and shut-ins. Dick Nail led song on page 235 for the following deceased: Geneva Jones, Margaret Whitaker, Lamana Bige, Polly Thomas, Pauline Humphrey, Edna Thomas, Eugene Wright, Elvert Kilgo, and all of those who died on the battlefields.

The pastor, Brother Abel, welcomed everyone and gave thanks for the noon meal.
