The thirtieth session of the annual Sacred Harp singing held at Shady Grove (Keeton Cemetery) was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Travis Keeton leading song on page 48t. Harrison Creel led the class in morning prayer.

The class organized with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Travis Keeton; Vice Chairman—Glenn Keeton; Secretary—Josie Hyde; Arranging Committee—Lena Keeton.
