The annual Sacred Harp singing held at Edwardsville Baptist Church on the first Sunday in April was called to order by Roy Nelson leading song on page 32t. Felton Denney led the morning prayer. Roy Nelson thanked everyone for coming and led song on page 82 (t? b?), followed by Mary Florence Smith leading songs on pages 61 and 63.
The class organized with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Roy Nelson; Vice Chairman—Lonnie Rogers; Arranging Committee and Secretary—Hester Edwards; Memorial Committee—Mary Florence Smith and Molene Thompson.

Mary Florence Smith led song on page 406 for all the sick and shut-ins. Rev. Junior Jones, pastor of the church, welcomed everyone and asked the blessing on the food.
