The 150th session of the Boiling Springs Sacred Harp Convention was held at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church near Ashland, Alabama, on Saturday before the second Sunday in November. The class was called to order by Eugene Forbes leading 32t. The opening prayer was offered by Jack Nelson.

The officers for the day were as follows: Chairman—Eugene Forbes; Vice Chairman—Jack Nelson; Secretary—Jenny Acton; Arranging Officer—Edna Ruth Phillips.

Richard spoke and then read the following list of names of the deceased: B. M. Smith, Earlis McGraw, Toney Smith, Lavoy Smith, Joe Nall, Johnny Lee, James Hughes, S.T. Reed, Azilee Adams, Elsie Calvert Moon, Steve Adams, Kermit Adams, Janelle Davis, and Geneva Prichard. Richard led 148. The memorial was closed with prayer offered by Danny Creel.
