He then introduced David Heidorn who read a commendation on behalf of Governor Kay Ivey recognizing Jim Reid’s participation in Sacred Harp music and commending the descendants and friends for continuing the Sacred Harp tradition of singing and dinner on the ground. Lucy Heidorn and Edie Richardson led 460 (Jim Reid’s favorite song). Lucy Heidorn and Cindy Tanner led 155. Lucy Heidorn, Ainslie Allen, Amelia Jett, and Emma Calvert led 146.
