The 8th annual Sacred Harp singing at Poplar Springs Primitive Baptist Church, north of Bowdon, Carroll County, Georgia, was held on the fourth Sunday in September. Daniel Williams called the class to order by leading 60. Daniel and Samuel welcomed everyone. Cecil Roberts offered the opening prayer.

The memorial lesson was conducted by Bill DuPre. Bill read the following names of the sick and shut-ins: Jack Nelson, Henry Johnson, Debra Morton, Joyce Walton, Karleen Williams, Sherry Lovvorn, Philip Gilmore, Ed Thacker, Margaret Thacker, Don Bowen, and Jen Turleton. He then read the following names of the deceased: Buell Cobb, Mike Hinton, Virginia Futral, William Futral, Brian Thompson. He led 65 and closed the memorial service with a heartfelt prayer.

LUNCH

The afternoon session began with Samuel Williams leading 201. A motion was called to move the class into a business session. Officers were elected and the class resolved to meet again next year. The meeting was closed. Announcements were made.

Daniel Williams and Samuel Williams led 83b as the closing song. Johnny Wright offered the closing prayer, and the class was dismissed.
