The 7th annual John and Loraine Bayer Memorial Singing was held at Bear Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Meeting House. Song selections were sung from The Sacred Harp, 1991 Edition, as well as a book of John Bayer’s compositions, The Dayton Harmony, noted as DH, and the Missouri Harmony, noted as MH.

The Chairman called the class to order, welcomed all in attendance, and thanked the hosting congregation. The morning prayer was offered by David Casenhiser.

Prisca Rice conducted the memorial lesson for the deceased remembering Tom Jurgensen—Colorado; Carol Patterson—Ohio; Brian Thompson and Pauline Oliver—Alabama. She then remembered the sick and shut-ins which were Sue Duff, Lisa Alwin and her family, Joy Ayers and Rodney Bean. She led with 480. Greg Creech shared memories of John and Loraine Bayer and closed the memorial service with prayer.
