The 158th session of the Hopewell singing met on the third Sunday in June. Oscar McGuire called the class to order by leading 34b and 59. Denney Rogers offered the opening prayer. Denney Rogers led 100. Karen Rollins led 122 (for Bill Denney and Randa Harris).

A business session was held with the re-election of the same officers as follows: Chairman—Oscar McGuire; Vice Chairman—Denney Rogers; Secretary—Karen Rollins. Judy Chambles was chosen to arrange leaders.

The song chosen for the memorial was 45t, led by Karen and her siblings and granddaughter (Paige Harrod, Sherry Lovvorn, Denney Rogers, and Julia Jade Thompson). Bill DuPre closed the memorial lesson with a prayer.
