The annual Decoration Day Sacred Harp singing was held at Cane Creek Primitive Baptist Church near Heflin, Cleburne County, Alabama, on the third Sunday in May. Glenda Collins called the class to order leading 59. Bert Collins offered the morning prayer. Glenda Collins welcomed the visitors and singers to the singing and led 101t.

Shane Brown gave the memorial lesson talking about people who live a respectful life will be remembered while people who live a wicked life are soon forgotten, he led 445 in memory of the deceased. Shane Brown closed the memorial lesson with prayer.
