The annual Decoration Day Sacred Harp singing was held on the second Sunday in April. The class was called to order by Marty Wootten and Jamey Wootten leading 82t. The opening prayer was offered by Phil Summerlin.

Shane Wootten conducted the memorial lesson. He read aloud the names of the sick and shut-ins and the names of the recently deceased. Shane spoke of the difficulties of being sick or shut-in and reminds everyone to reach out to those on or off the list. He continues speaking comforting words and memories of the deceased. He led the song on page 565. Shane was joined by Jerry Wootten and they led the song on page 426t in memory of the recently deceased, the family members, and friends buried in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Jerry Wootten concluded the memorial lesson with prayer.
