RECESS

The class returned to order with Esther Morgan-Ellis leading 275t, followed by Lela Crowder leading 215 and 354t. A business session was held and the following officers were elected: Chairperson—Sasha Hsuczyk; Vice Chairperson—Lela Crowder; Secretaries—Laura Akerman and Jerusha Wheeler. Phillip Langley led a memorial lesson for the deceased and sick and shut-ins. The list of names of deceased was read aloud as follows: Earl Ballinger, Virginia Futral, Henry Guthery, Malik Williams—Alabama; Martha Ann Stegar—Georgia; Bob Goodman—California and Georgia; Susan Fetcho—California; Chloe Webb—Texas; John Smead—Missouri; Steve Biggs, Rob Mahoney—United Kingdom; John Bennett—Germany; Michael Kennedy—Ireland. The list of names of the sick and shut-ins was read aloud as follows: Jack Nelson, Jesse Roberts, Reba Windom, Margaret Thacker, Betty Shepherd, Joyce Walton, and Pleasance Crawford. Phillip Langley led 348b for all those named. Jim Neal closed the memorial lesson with prayer.
