The 27th annual singing affiliated with the Society for American Music conference, held this year in Detroit, Michigan, was called to order by Jesse P. Karlsberg leading 31t. Deane Root, a member of the Society, offered an opening prayer. Song selections were from The Sacred Harp, 1991 Edition except where otherwise indicated.

The Society for American Music Singing occurs in conjunction with the Society’s annual conference, the date and location of which vary each year. The 2025 singing will convene in Tacoma, Washington.
