The 12th session of the Olympia All-Day Singing met at the Prosperity Grange Hall on Saturday before the second Sunday in March. The class was called to order by Jenna Tompkins and Marla Elliott leading 46. Rosie Sokolov offered the opening prayer.

A business meeting was held, and the following officers and committee members were elected or appointed to serve: Chair—Jenna Tompkins; Secretary—Marla Elliott; Chaplain—Rosie Sokolov; Treasurer—Carrie Walker; Arranging Committee—Kate Fortin; Memorial Committee—Marla Elliott; Resolutions Committee—Carrie Walker. The business session was closed.

The memorial lesson was conducted by Marla Elliott. Marla read the following list of names of the sick and shut-ins: Steve Mills, Martha Leff, Gary Leff, Jim van Horn, Darlene Simpson-Brown, and Eileen Forsyth. She led 430.

Marla spoke about the death last year of Solomon Ossa, the first chair of this singing. She read the following list of names of the deceased: Solomon Ossa, Josh Shelstad—Washington; Grace Ann Baker—Texas; Marlon Wootten, Hubert Nall—Alabama; Lydia Lewallen—North Carolina; Sharon Skeeter—Oklahoma; Philip Denney—Georgia; Ernie Marbott—Oregon; Ted Mercer—Illinois. Marla led 547 and closed the memorial lesson with prayer.

A business meeting was held to hear reports from various committees. Carrie Walker, as treasurer, reported that expenses were met. Carrie also served as the Resolutions Committee, thanking the officers and committee members for their service, the cooks and kitchen coordinators for their hard work and delicious food, and resolving to meet again next year on Saturday before the second Sunday in March. Kate Fortin and Marla Elliott reported on behalf of the secretary and arranging committee that ninety-two songs were led by thirty-seven leaders from five states. The meeting was closed. Announcements were made.

Jenna Tompkins led 267 as the closing song. Rosie Sokolov offered the closing prayer, and the class was dismissed.
