The annual Kenneth Fannin Memorial Sacred Harp singing was held at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church at Providence on Saturday before the third Sunday in May. The class was called to order at 10:30 a.m. by Christopher Mann. Leaders: Butch White 287; Tom Booth 34b; Christopher Mann 467; Cindy Mann 159; Joyce White 39b; Butch White 178; Cindy Mann 274t; Christopher Mann 348b; Tom Booth 501; Joyce White 146; Butch White 147b; Christopher Mann 39t; Cindy Mann 77t; Butch White 77b; Christopher Mann 47b; Butch White 99; Tom Booth 34t; Butch White 35; Tom Booth 78; Butch White 354t, 547; Christopher Mann 31t; Butch White 225t (for Carol Fannin). Butch White offered the blessing for lunch as well as the closing prayer. After lunch, the class was dismissed.

Note: As per a request by Carol Fannin (wife and widow of Kenneth Fannin), the singing name has been changed from the Kenneth Fannin Memorial and Providence Singing to the Providence Singing. Although we had no business session, the consensus of the class was to grant her request.
