The annual Sacred Harp singing in memory of Elder Homer Benefield, Katherine Benefield, Mildred Johnson, and Mildred Patterson was held at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church on Friday night before the second Sunday in April. Cecil Roberts called the class to order leading 59, then gave the opening prayer. A business session was held and the following officers elected: Chairman—Cecil Roberts; Vice Chairman—Lisa Bennett; Secretary—Glenda Collins.

Cecil Roberts conducted the memorial lesson, and led 303 for the sick and shut-ins (Virginia Dyer, Terry Wade, Kathleen Eidson, Jack Nelson, Leonard Benefield, and Phillip Denney) and the deceased (Lois Bowman, Steven McElroy, Lamar Perry, and Rebecca Over).
