The annual Sacred Harp singing at Pine Grove Church was held on the third Sunday in April. The class was called to order by Scot Oliver leading 82t. Hayden Wootten offered the opening prayer.

The memorial lesson was conducted by Cindy Tanner and Shane Wootten. Cindy Tanner read the following list of names of the deceased: Mary Ruth Stiefel, Nell Womack, Jerry Capps, Bill Windom, Lance Phillips, Velton Chafin, Jewel Wootten, Lucille Blanks, Faye Jones, Sherry Reed, Bill Stewart, and Irene Killingsworth—Alabama; Sonny Erwin—Texas; Richard DeLong—Georgia; Bill Beverly—Michigan. She read the following list of names of the sick and shut-ins: Coy Ivey, Norma Green, Margaret Keeton, Mary Wright, Margaret Thacker, Ed Thacker, Lucy Heidorn, Boyd Scott, Julie Poston, and Wayne Reed. Shane Wootten led 75 in memory of Mary Ruth Stiefel. He also led 148. Danny Creel closed the memorial service with prayer.

Shane Wootten shared memories of past singings at Pine Grove and led 56t. Leaders: Alanna Blanks and Arleigh Beard 405; Joyce Morton 63; Eric Blanks and Bryant Beard 496; Cindy Tanner 198 (in memory of Darrell Swarens), 220.

Scot Oliver and Rodney Ivey led 146 as the closing song. Marty Wootten dismissed the class with prayer.
