The Sacred Harp singing in memory of Elder H.R. Avery was held on the second Sunday in February. The class was called to order by Charlotte Bishop leading 145b. Shane Brown offered the opening prayer. Stanley Smith led 144, and Oscar McGuire led 34b (in memory of Bentley McGuire).

In a business session, a motion was made for electing the following officers to serve: Chairman—Charlotte Bishop; Secretary—Sharon Whitehead; Arrangements—Jordan McGuire. The motion carried and the business session was closed.

LUNCH

Charlotte Bishop called the class to order leading 43. In the memorial lesson, Oscar McGuire led 45t for Nell Estes, Virginia Futral, William Futral, Jane Moran, Phillip Denney, Susan Ford and Paula Fagan. He then led 560 in memory of Mattie Avery, Bentley McGuire, Mary Ruth Stiefel, Richard DeLong, and Jewel Wootten. The memorial service was closed with prayer by Kenny Whitehead.
