The Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church Homecoming and The Hillabee Sacred Harp Convention was called to order by Charlotte Bishop leading 36b. The opening prayer was offered by Elder Ben Keeble.

Leaders: Charlotte Bishop 143 (for Sheila Shivers and Mary Cu Shivers); Jack Nelson 32t, 393 (CB) (Jack spoke about his uncles serving in World War II); Kathe Pilibosian 34t, 277; Laura Densmore 50t, 313t (Laura spoke of her father-in-law being a POW in a Japanese Prison Camp during World War II, and her mother-in-law, who served in the Navy); Winfred Kerr 560 (for the Avery Family), 500; Carol Buche 488 (CB), 171.


Charlotte Bishop called the class to order leading 335. Leaders: Oscar McGuire 229, 515; Lynda Fagan 31t (CB), 587 (CB); Ben Keeble 490, 39b; Chris Holley 152, 159 (dedicated to Travis Fuller and Larry Wootten); Guy Bankes 472, 481.


Charlotte Bishop called the class to order. The memorial lesson was held at this time. Charlotte Bishop led 145b. Jack Nelson led 336 for the following sick and shut-ins: Virginia Futral, William Futral, Larry Wootten, Paula Fagan, Cheryl Elsey, and Mark Brown.

Don Clark led 463 in memory of the following deceased: Mary Cu Shivers, Odean Moran Keel, Glenda Hopper, Floy Wilder, Daphene Causey, Christine Keeble—Alabama; Julie Vea—Wisconsin; Steve Helwig—Oregon; Darrell Swarens—Indiana; Hugh McGraw—Georgia, and Ludora Morris. Jack Nelson closed the memorial service with prayer.
