The Kermit Adams and Steve Adams Memorial Singing was held on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in June at Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Double Springs, Alabama. The class was called to order by Don Keeton leading 319. The morning prayer was offered by Don Keeton.

The class was organized and the following officers were elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Don Keeton; Vice Chairman—Jerry Kitchens; Arranging Officer—Margaret Keeton; Secretary—Roma Rice.

The memorial lesson was conducted by Richard Mauldin. The following list of names of the deceased was read: Robert Godsey, Robert Wayne Godsey, Michael McClaren, Gravis Ballinger, Kenneth Fannin, Hugh McGraw, Gary Switis, Edna Ruth Phillips, Janelle Davis, Joe Nall, and Sam Chalker. Richard led 111b. He led 30b in memory of Kenneth Fannin.

Richard read the following list of names of the sick and shut-ins: Shirley Tidwell, Karen Rollins, Anne Chalker, Marlin Beasley, Juanita Beasley, Linda Booth, Eloise Wootten, Verlon Stiefel, Velton Chafin, Johnnie Chafin, and Willodean Barton. Richard led 34b. Don Keeton offered the blessing before the noon meal.
