On Saturday before this singing an all-day Christian Harmony singing and singing school, taught by Ian Quinn, was held at the church.

For the first session on Sunday, Nathan Rees taught a Sacred Harp singing school. He focused on observing rests, communicating with the class when leading, and how to beat time.
