The 36th annual Oxford Sacred Harp Singing was held in the Powerhouse Community Arts Center on the second Sunday in March. The class was called to order by Warren Steel leading 48t. Matt Bell offered the morning prayer. Mark Davis then led 181.

The class entered into a business session. The following officers were elected to serve: Chairman—Warren Steel; Vice Chairman—Mark Davis; Secretary—Wanda Capps; Arranging Committee—Marlin Beasley and Matt Bell.

Andrew George welcomed the class on behalf of the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council. A memorial lesson was held. John Van Horn led 312t in memory of the following deceased: George Easley, Charles Porter, Margie Bryant, Kenneth Stead, Al Moreton, Becky Moreton, and Henry Ray Reynolds—Mississippi; Azilee Adams, Sandra Spradlin, Fred Killingsworth, and Robert DuPree—Alabama. Glenn Keeton led 77t for the sick and homebound.

Marlin Beasley led 318 and 512.
