The annual Parker, Hollis, and Putnam Memorial Sacred Harp Singing was held at Liberty Primitive Baptist Church (McCormick), Jefferson County, Alabama, on Saturday before the fifth Sunday in January. The class was called to order by Danny Creel leading 30t. The opening prayer was offered by Marlin Beasley.

In a business session, the class voted to retain the following officers: Chairman—Velton Chafin (absent); Vice Chairman—Danny Creel; Secretary—Margaret Keeton; Arranging Officer—Brenda Chafin.
