The annual Mattox Memorial Sacred Harp Singing was held on Saturday before the third Sunday in May. The class was called to order by Moderator Clay Mattox who led songs on pages 335 and 334. The morning prayer was led by Brother Paul Violet.
Clayton Ezell welcomed everyone and the following officers were elected: Chairman—Tim Reynolds; Vice Chairman—Clayton Ezell; Secretary—Vivian Davis; Assistant Secretary—Frances Mattox; Arranging Committee—Gordon Wilkerson.
