During the fall semester of 2013, at the invitation of Bennington College Music Professor Kitty Brazelton, singing masters Allison Steel, Daniel Hertzler, and Ben Bath conducted a Sacred Harp singing school. The nine Thursday evening classes covered the rudiments of singing Sacred Harp music. On the tenth and final evening, the students themselves ran the special singing.
The following officers were appointed to serve: Chairlady—Caroline Richter; Vice Chairman—Pierce Huff; Secretary—Susan Kennedy.
Caroline Richter led 410b as the opening song. Emiline Mesmer offered the opening prayer.

The Secretary reported that there were 56 songs sung by 40 leaders, and 70 (t? b?) registered singers. On behalf of the class Abby Morical praised all the officers and committees for making the singing a success, thanked the teachers and visitors for assisting their class, and resolved that the students will make an effort to visit singings as they leave campus for the holidays, and that the students will try to hold a regular practice singing next semester in the absence of a formal class.
Caroline Richter, Pierce Huff, and Susan Kennedy led 62 as the closing song, and those who wished took the parting hand. Brother Stavros Winner offered the closing prayer, and the class was dismissed.
