Minutes of Sacred Harp Singings

The 2nd annual Palo Alto Sacred Harp All-Day Singing was held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto, Palo Alto, California, on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in August. The class was called to order by Dan Harper leading 48t. David Fetcho offered the opening prayer.

A business meeting was held. The Treasurer reported that expenses were met. The Secretary reported that at least 57 singers attended, from California, Washington, and New York, and 93 songs were sung with 39 leaders. A Resolution was made by Peter Ross to meet again next year. The Chairman thanked all who made the singing possible. Announcements were made.

Terry Moore, Dan Harper, and Ellen Rose led 347 as the closing song. David Fetcho offered the closing prayer, and the class was dismissed.
