The annual Sharon Jordan Leach Memorial Singing was held at Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church, Arab, Alabama, on Saturday before the third Sunday in April. Elder Matt Jordan called the class to order at 9:45 a.m. leading 49t. The opening prayer was offered by Elder J.L. Hopper.
Matt Jordan led 59. The following officers were elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Matt Jordan; Vice Chairman—David Light; Secretary—Judy Caudle.

A wonderful memorial lesson for Sharon Jordan Leach was conducted by several of her high school classmates and close friends from 1976. Personal experiences and memories of Sharon were shared with the class by Sandra Gibson, Keith Hawkins, Wendy McGee, Donna Wright Casey, and Janet Jordan. Three original poems, “Mirror”, “Planet Self”, and “Rocking Chair” were presented by Jackie Mills Maddox in memory of Sharon.
