The 104th session of the Mulberry River Convention was held at Liberty Church (McCormick) in Jefferson County, Alabama, on Saturday before the first Sunday in September. Velton Chafin called the class to order leading 31b. The morning prayer was offered by Henry Guthery. Velton Chafin led 30t.

Richard Mauldin and Emily Creel conducted the memorial lesson. Emily Creel read the names of the following deceased: John Etheridge, Frank Hataway, Paul King, L. H. Gilmore, Gertrude Hannah, Milton Oliver, Jimmie Denney, William Reynolds, and Woodrow Hocutt. Richard Mauldin led 385b in their memory.
The following sick and shut-ins were remembered: Charlotte McCarn, Josie Hyde, Clarence McCool, Corene White, Lecil and Ida Lee Starnes, Cecil and Winell Sanders, Thurman and Lou Nall, and Arley and Hazel Harper. Emily Creel led 216 in their honor. The memorial lesson was closed with prayer offered by John Merritt.
