The 16th annual Los Angeles Regional Sacred Harp Singing was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Pat Keating leading 34b. Steve Lazicki offered the opening prayer.

A business meeting was called with the following officers elected: Chairman—David Olson; Vice Chairman—Norman Gholson; Treasurer—Duncan MacLeod; Arranging Committee—Rick Russell and Betty Hermann; Resolutions Committee—Amy Ludwig and Polly Henninger; Secretary—Larry Arnstein.

Duncan McLeod reported that expenses were met. Larry Arnstein reported that 72 songs were led by 31 leaders. Thanks were given to those who helped make the singing a success.
