The second West Yorkshire Sacred Harp Day singing began at 10:00 a.m. with a singing class taught by Cath Tyler in which she led 33b and 107.

RECESS

The class was called to order at 11:15 a.m. by Chris Brown leading 159. John Hopkinson offered the morning prayer.

The memorial lesson was led by Sheila Girling Macadam, who read the names of the deceased, and led 146 in their memory: Gladys Reynolds, John Peel, Ron Walmsley, Eddie Thomson, Irene Land, Mark Tindall, Trevor Withall, Elizabeth Mary Phillips, David Spencer, Margaret Jackman, E. Wahlman, Venice Manley, Fred Greenwood, Marian Irvine, and Allen Fannin.

Phil Tyler spoke for the sick and housebound, read the list of names, and led 101t in their honor: Hazel Walker, Mary Kellaway, Stan Whiting, Mick Whiting, John Birmingham, James Oss, Rick Kelley, Constance Fishwick, Gladwys Carlin, Nora Hirschel, David Aizelwood, Jonathaon Hayward, and John Powell. The memorial was closed. Judy Whiting led 68b.

LUNCH
