The eleventh annual Northern California Regional Sacred Harp Singing was held in the Senior Citizens Opportunities Building in Santa Cruz, California on the third Sunday in August. Tammy Heinsohn called the class to order at 9:30 a.m. with 503. Chaplain John Brunk offered the opening prayer.

John Marr brought the class back to order with 335. The memorial lesson was held with Shelley Phillips leading 437 in honor of the sick and shut-ins and 122 in memory of the deceased. Rev. Kathleen Eschen-Pipes read the names of the sick and shut-ins as well as the deceased.

The sick and shut-ins remembered were: Peggy Belland, Harry Belland, Sharon Day, Elaine Friedrich, Tom Fuhr, and Lorraine Forry.

The names of the deceased remembered were: Jacques Transue, Jessie Lee, Guillermo Mimiaga, Dwight Cannon, Loren Dick, and Stephen Radley—California; Evan McCombs—Illinois. Shelley Phillips led 474, and Rev. Kathleen Eschen-Pipes concluded the memorial lesson.

Carolyn Deacy led 485 and 501. John Brunk offered the blessing for the food.
