The first annual all day Sacred Harp Singing at Spivey Hall was held on Wednesday, July 23, 2003. Hugh McGraw called the class to order with songs on pages 32t and 59. The morning prayer was offered by Louis Hughes, Sr.

Announcements were made. It was decided that this would become an annual singing that will be held on Saturday before the third Sunday in July at Spivey Hall on the campus of Clayton College and State University.

Gene Pinion and Hugh McGraw led 46 as the closing song. John Hollingsworth offered the closing prayer, and the class was dismissed.
