The third annual Newton County Georgia Singing was held on Saturday before the third Sunday in May at Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church, southeast of Covington, Georgia. Charles Woods called the class to order leading 81t. Rev. Frank Norris offered the morning prayer. Hermon Wilkinson welcomed everyone to Shoal Creek and led 111t and 144. Frank Norris led 166.
A business session was held with the class voting to retain the existing officers: Chairman—Charles Woods; Vice Chairman—Hermon Wilkinson; Secretary—Arlene Woods; Chaplain—Rev. Frank Norris.
