The 29th session of the South Carolina Singing in memory of William Walker was held at Second Presbyterian Church, Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina, on Saturday before the third Sunday in March. The class was called to order by Frances Carnell, who welcomed the singers and led 22t (CH). John Plunkett gave the opening prayer.

A business meeting was held. Because we have no bank account and hold no money, Bobbi Albert, our Treasurer suggested that we do away with that officer position. Whatever money we collect goes to the minutes at FaSoLa and to Second Presbyterian Church in gratitude for hosting us. We agreed to retain the 3 remaining officers as follows for the next year: Chair—Frances Carnell; Vice Chair—Dave Farmer; Secretary—Mary Baumeister.
