The annual Alewine, Laminack, and Stephen McElroy Memorial singing was held on the fourth Sunday in April at St. Michael Lutheran Church north of Muscadine, Cleburne County, Alabama. Cecil Roberts called the class to order leading 49t. Cecil Roberts welcomed the visitors and singers to the singing and offered the morning prayer. Leaders: Cecil Roberts 49b; Bert Collins 268, 542; Barbara Brooks 58, 72b; Robert Chambless 287, 34b; Glenda Collins 35, 81t; Winfred Kerr 69t, 62; Donna Bell 452 (in memory of Ann Simpson and in honor of Ed and Margaret Thacker), 63 (in memory of Corine Laminack).

In a business meeting the following officers were elected: Chairman—Cecil Roberts; Vice Chairman—Bert Collins; Secretary—Judy Chambless.
