The 155th annual Sacred Harp singing at Hopewell Primitive Church near Roopville, Georgia, met on the third Sunday in June. The class was called to order by Karen Rollins leading 503 (in honor of Don Bowen), and she welcomed the singers and visitors. Sherry Lovvorn offered the morning prayer. In a short business meeting, the following officers were elected: Chairman—Karen Rollins; Vice Chairman—Oscar McGuire; Secretary/Arranging—Judy Chambless.

Denney Rogers, Karen Rollins, Karleen Williams, Paige Harrod, and Sherry Lovvorn gave the memorial lesson remembering the deceased (Rebecca Over, Coy Ivey, Lindy Rogers Mary Maxwell, Jane Adams, Paul Camp, Tommy Yarbrough, Bobby Parmer, James Walker, Winfred McCormick, Rufus McCormick, Danny McCormick, James Gillham, and Janice Invester) and the sick and shut-ins (Henry Guthery, Judy Henry, Ed and Margaret Thacker, Virginia Dyer, Landon Lovvorn, Barry Rollins, Eris Muse, Lucy Garner, Donna Bell, Jack Nelson, Shane Wootten, Don Bowen, James Ray Gosdin, and Opal Cannon). They led 119 and 405. Matt Hinton closed the memorial lesson with prayer. Denney Rogers gave the financial report for the church.
