Union Musical Sacred Harp Singing Convention

Canceled Due to Covid-19 Pandemic

October 30-31, 2021

The Union Musical Convention, normally held on the fourth fifth Sunday of the year and the Saturday before, was canceled in 2021 due to the continuing risk of indoor singing. We also mourn the loss of our Chairwoman, Rebecca Over.

In the spirit of Rebecca’s diligent stewardship of this convention and of so much Sacred Harp history, a memorial lesson was observed.

Sick and shut-ins: Virginia Dyer, John Hollingsworth, Karen Mathews, Marlon Wootten, Mary Wright. For the sick and shut-ins, we sing 374.
