The third Marian Bush Memorial Singing was held outdoors at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto, Palo Alto, California, on the fourth Sunday in August. The class was called to order by Terry Moore leading 313b. Dan Harper offered the opening prayer.

A business meeting was held and the following officers were elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Terry Moore; Vice Chairman—Anne Caswell; Secretary—Dan Harper; Online technology—Paul Kostka.

Terry Moore began the memorial lesson by reminding us how much David Fetcho contributed to Sacred Harp singing on the West Coast. He led 448t in memory of David Fetcho—California; Coy Ivey—Alabama; Rebecca Over—U.K.

A business meeting was held. The secretary reported that twenty singers, including sixteen in person and four online, sang fifty songs. Lena Strayhorn thanked those who made the singing happen, and thanked the church for welcoming us. She resolved we would meet again next year, approved unanimously.

Dan Harper offered the closing prayer, and Terry Moore led 347 as the closing song.
