The 90th session of the Mississippi State Sacred Harp Singing Convention was held on the fourth Sunday and Saturday before in August. The class was called to order by Mark Davis leading 37b. Arlon Gardner offered the opening prayer. Mark Davis led 209. Mark welcomed everyone to the convention, and thanked Antioch Primitive Baptist Church for hosting the convention.

The Sunday session of the Mississippi State Convention was called to order by Mark Davis leading 67. He welcomed everyone. Arlon Gardner offered the opening prayer.

The Business and Credentials Committee gave their report. The church received $300.00. A donation of $100.00 will be made to WCPC radio station in Houston, MS, for the Sacred Harp hour every Sunday morning, and $65 will be sent for minutes publication.

Chris Nicholson and Charity Vaughn led 548 (CB) for the following sick and shut-ins: David Jackson, Margaret Keeton, Lucy Heidorn, Marlin Beasley, Juanita Beasley, Bobby Caldwell, Elizabeth Van Horn, Alice McGuire, Colvin Mann, Esther Mann, Alfred Bailey, Freda Bailey, Leon Ballinger, Leo Stanley, and Mary Stanley.

Chris Nicholson and Charity Vaughn led 546t (WB) in memory of the following deceased: Ina Hollingsworth Mazingo, Jerry Lee Hollingsworth, Linda Funderburk, Gordon Cotton—Mississippi; Rebecca Over—United Kingdom; Joan Aldridge and Bill Windom—Alabama; Bill Beverly—Michigan; Burl Russell and Floyd Nicholson—Texas.

The Resolutions Committee resolved to thank Antioch Primitive Baptist Church for hosting our convention and thank everyone that prepared the food both days. Announcements were made.
