The 65th session of the Lillian Calvert and Irene Woodley Memorial Singing held at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church, Boldo, Alabama, on Saturday night before the second Sunday in January was called to order by Yancey Jett leading 111b. Danny Creel offered the opening prayer.

The singing was dedicated to the memory of Eugene Forbes.
