The 46th annual Sacred Harp singing was held at Shady Grove Church (Keeton Cemetery), near Nauvoo, Alabama, on the first Sunday in May. The class was called to order by Glenn Keeton leading 74b. Earl Ballinger offered the morning prayer. Glenn Keeton welcomed everyone.

The class was organized by electing or appointing the following officers to serve: Chairman—Glenn Keeton; Secretary and Arranging Officer—Lena Keeton.
