The annual Homecoming Sacred Harp Singing was held at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church on the first Sunday in May. Eugene Forbes called the class to order leading 101t. Roy Nelson offered the opening prayer.

RECESS

The memorial lesson was held at this time. Richard Mauldin led 37b for the following sick and shut-ins: Myrlene Redmon, Ottis Sides, Anne Mauldin Chalker, Hugh McGraw, Karen Rollins, Tommie Spurlock, Mary Frances Forbes, and Floy Wilder.

Richard Mauldin led 236 in memory of the following deceased: Steve Adams, Bill Smith, Christine Keeble, Kermit Adams, Elsie Calvert Moon, J. D. Morris, Gravis Ballinger, and Edna Ruth Phillips—Alabama; Earlis McGaw, Gail Jackson, and Geneva Prichard—Georgia; Joe Nall—Florida; and Janelle Davis—Illinois. Jack Nelson offered prayer to close the memorial service.
