The annual Elder Roy Avery Memorial singing was held on the second Sunday in February at Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church in Daviston, Alabama. Jack Nelson brought the class to order by leading 480 and 36b. He offered the morning prayer.

The following officers were elected: Chairman—Jack Nelson; Secretary—Judy Chambless.

Jack Nelson conducted the memorial lesson, leading 457 for the following sick and shut-ins: Jonathan Smith, Eugene Forbes, Floy Wilder, Jean Payne, Edna Phillips, Audress Gurley, Julietta Haynes, Coy Ivey, Lonnie Rogers, and Wygelia Sims and for the following deceased: Marie Ivey, Wayne Morgan, and Travis Keeton.
