The 6th annual Sacred Harp singing at USA Presbyterian Church in Petersburg, Tennessee, was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by John Edmondson. Tim Reynolds offered the opening prayer and led 34b, 49t, and 128.

The following officers were appointed to serve: Chairman—John Edmondson; Secretary—Marcia Edmondson.

Leaders: John Edmondson 59, 159, 81t; Nelda Ezell 335, 30t, 67; Clayton Ezell 300, 390, 278t.

RECESS

Laurens Blankers brought the class back to order leading 40, 107, and 58. Sandie Scott led 38b, 74b, and 472.

A brief business meeting was held to discuss an invitation to move the annual singing, beginning next year, to Petersburg United Methodist Church. A motion was made by Tim Reynolds and seconded by Clayton Ezell. The class voted unanimously to move.

Leaders: Marcia Edmondson 452, 457; Sara Harwell 63, 72b, 146. Clayton Ezell offered the prayer before the noon meal.

LUNCH

John Edmondson called the class back to order leading 85. Following announcements, David Carlton offered the closing prayer, and the class was dismissed.

The singing will be held beginning 2010 at Petersburg United Methodist Church, 301 Church Street, Petersburg, Tennessee.
