The second all day Sacred Harp singing for Old Knoxville Days was called to order by Oscar McGuire leading 33t. The morning prayer was offered by David Grant.
The class was organized for the day with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Oscar McGuire; Secretary—Charlene Wallace; Arranging Committee—Oscar McGuire.
Mr. Frank Holmes, on behalf of the Crawford County Historical Society, welcomed everyone to the Old County Courthouse to celebrate Old Knoxville Days.
Oscar McGuire led 59. Hugh McGraw explained the methods of singing Sacred Harp and the history of Sacred Harp in Georgia.
