The Smyrna Primitive Baptist Church Homecoming singing was held on the third Sunday in April. Chairman Jack Nelson brought the class to order leading 59. Eugene Forbes offered the morning prayer.

The class was organized with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Jack Nelson; Secretary—Jenny Acton; Arranging Committee—Virginia Futral.

By order and motion, the class agreed to change the name of this singing to “Thomas Futral Memorial Singing.”
