Minutes of Sacred Harp Singings

The sixth annual Marilou and Don Jolly Memorial singing was held on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in July in the Grand Room of the Porter House at Old Poway Park. The first session was called to order by Carroll Lunsford with song on page 59. Norma Ruptier offered an opening prayer. Jerry Schreiber led song on page 128.

A motion was made and seconded to go into a business meeting. The following officers were elected or appointed: Chairman—Midge Harder; Vice Chairman—Mary Linn Bergstrom; Secretary—Jerry Schreiber; Chaplain—Norma Ruptier; Arranging Committee—Carla Smith; Resolutions Committee—Carolyn Deacy and Anitra Kaye.
