A special Sacred Harp singing was held at Anderson College in the Rainey Fine Arts Choral Classroom on Saturday, April 8, 2000.

Dr. Perry Carroll welcomed everyone and introduced Dr. Harry Eskew who spoke on Sacred Harp singing. Hugh McGraw spoke on the tradition of Sacred Harp and led songs on pages 49 (t? b?), 52 (t? b?), 335, and 146.

The class was organized for the day by electing the following officers: Chairman—Dr. Perry Carroll; Vice Chairman—Dr. Harry Eskew; Secretary—Charlene Wallace; Arranging Committee—Dr. Harry Eskew.
