The annual Sacred Harp Singing at Smyrna Primitive Baptist Church was held on the third Sunday in September. Jack Nelson brought the class together by leading the song on page 480.

A business session was held with the following officers elected: Chairman—Jack Nelson; Co-chairman—Robby Anderson; Secretary—Wendy Anderson.

RECESS

Jack Nelson led 228 to bring the class back together. Leaders: Winfred Kerr 516, 517; Roy Nelson 30b, 31b; Ken Milner 500, 146; Robby Anderson and Wendy Anderson 196, 114, 98; The memorial lesson was conducted by Stanley Smith. He made comments and led 490 and 569b. The memorial service was closed with prayer offered by Elder Ken Milner.

LUNCH

Jack Nelson began the afternoon session by leading 460. Leaders: Chris Nicholson 348b; Daniel Williams 138b; Bert Collins 345b; Glenda Collins 335, 45t; Robert Chambless 225t; Winfred Kerr 36b; Roy Nelson 39b; Wendy Anderson 358.

Jack Nelson led 46 as the closing song. The closing prayer was offered by Daniel Williams, and the class was dismissed.
