The 157th annual session of the June Singing was held on the second Sunday in June at the Alpharetta Municipal Building. Faye Holbrook called the class to order leading 49t. John Plunkett offered the opening prayer.

RECESS

Faye Holbrook called the class to order leading 542 and 153. Leaders: Oscar McGuire 171, 66; Bill Dupre 85, 148; John Plunkett 61, 136; Helen Bryson 227, 287. A short business session was held. The following were elected to serve: Chairman—Faye Holbrook; Vice Chairman—Mike Castleberry; Secretary—David Smead.

LUNCH

Faye Holbrook called the class to order leading 457. Bill Dupre and Oscar McGuire conducted a Sacred Harp instructional class for the visitors which included traditions, rudiments, pitching, major and minor scales. Visitor questions were taken and answered. Oscar McGuire led 45t and 63. Helen Bryson led 68b. Faye Holbrook led 452 per request for Janice Paulk. Leaders: Bill Dupre 47b, 225t; Oscar McGuire 27; Helen Bryson 312t, 217; Bill Dupre 107. Announcements were made. Bill Dupre led 347 as closing song, and offered the closing prayer.
