The first Philadelphia All-Day Singing from the Shenandoah Harmony was held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia on the first Saturday in December. All song selections were from the Shenandoah Harmony.

Announcements were made. Ben Fink thanked all those present at the singing who contributed to compiling, or composing music for, the Shenandoah Harmony. Julian Bender reported that there were eighty-three registered attendees from ten states and the District of Columbia, and eighty-seven songs were led by fifty-one leaders. Ben Fink led 146 as the closing song. Scott Robinson offered the closing prayer, and the class was dismissed.
